On April 6, 2024, the Functional Materials Department hosted a skill-based training session titled "Exploring Career Pathways in Engineering: Strategies for Success." Dr. S. Muneeswari, an Associate Software Engineer at System Solution Pvt Ltd in Chennai, served as the soft skills trainer for the event. During her presentation, Dr. Muneeswari shared her own experiences and provided insights into interview and group discussion (GD) dynamics, emphasizing both requirements and best practices. With spontaneity and thoughtfulness, she engaged effectively with the audience, comprising 41 students and 9 staff members. Her presentation shed light on the significance of mastering skill-based interviews. Overall, the soft skills training session was a resounding success, offering comprehensive information on interviews and leaving a positive impact on attendees.
On March 11, 2024, the Functional Materials Department organized a Skill based training on “Effective strategies for mastering skill-based interviews: Tips, Techniques and Best Practises”. The soft skill trainer for the event was Dr. Divya. D, Assistant Professor, The soft skill trainer for the event was Dr. Divya.D, Assistant Professor, Vel Tech Rangarajan Dr Sagunthala R&D institute of Science and Technology, Chennai. During her presentation, she emphasized the requirements. Do's and dont's in interviews and GD by sharing her own experiences and gave hands-on to the students. Her speech was spontaneous, informative, and thoughtful, and she engaged well with the auidence, which comprised 31 students and 10 staffs. The presentation highlighted the importance of strategies for mastering-skill based interviews. Overall, the soft skill training provided detailed information about the interview and was a great success.

The presentation highlighted the importance of strategies for mastering skill-based interviews. Overall, the soft skill training provided detailed information about the interview and was a great success.
