Ms. U. Vishwa Priya

I obtained my bachelor's degree in chemistry from Bhaktavatsalam Memorial College for Women and my master's degree in chemistry from Anna Adarsh College for Women. I have completed my doctor of philosophy from the University of Madras. My research domains falls under biomaterials, Metal doped hydroxyapatite, Photo catalysis, and Graphitic carbon nitride based composites. My research work entitled “Synthesis, characterization and in vitro biological properties of pure and aliovalent (Fe3+, Co2+ and Li+) metal ion exchanged hydroxylapatite/graphitic carbon nitride (HAP/GCN) composites and utility of HAP/AGCN composite for photocatalysis”. I have actively participated in 16 national / international conferences and presented my research work in the five international conferences and I have published four research articles. 

Professional Experience: 

I have worked has a Teaching Cum Research Fellow during my Ph.D tenure. Supervised, instructed: Postgraduate students per semester for analytical chemistry and handled practical laboratory classes. I have got hands on experience with instruments such as UV-Vis, FT-IR, Spectrophotometer, etc.

Best Young Researcher Award from Novel Research Academy.

Research Works: 

Her research work mainly focuses on in the field of Biomaterials, Metal doped hydroxypatite, Photo catalyst, Graphitic carbon nitride based composites.
