Luher-Halloway Music Endowment

Supporting Music in Our Schools and the Sauk Prairie High School Music Program

To honor Karen Luher and Susan Halloway for their 30+ years of music excellence, the Sauk Prairie Music Association Board of Directors voted to establish the Luher-Halloway Music Endowment*. As an ongoing source of support for SPMA, this fund honors the vision of these talented and dedicated teachers. Alumni, parents and supporters of the Sauk Prairie music program have the opportunity to join us in ensuring that the legacy Karen and Sue created will continue for future generations.

The Sauk Prairie Music Association (SPMA) is a non-profit organization that began more than 40 years ago by a group of parents that envisioned expanding and enhancing the Sauk Prairie High School music program. Their mission of promoting excellence through music education is realized through fundraising efforts and the talent of dedicated volunteers and community members. Funds raised for this organization provide financial support for instruments, music, instruction, equipment, scholarships, financial aid and general music expenses.

Mission: Its sole purpose is dedicated to the enrichment of music students in the Sauk Prairie schools and specifically the Sauk Prairie High School music program.
