Katie LaVigne is in her 15th year of teaching; all but one of those years has been in Sauk Prairie. Mrs. LaVigne is the kindergarten through fifth-grade music teacher at Tower Rock, but she has also taught at Grand Ave and Black Hawk! Included in her teaching are beginning band and chorus at Tower Rock. Katie was born and raised in Watertown, WI, and received her Bachelor's Degree in Music Education at the University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point.

Musically, Katie spends a lot of time playing in a French Horn quartet, participating in her church choir and handbell choir, and playing in area pit orchestras. Katie lives in Prairie du Sac with her husband, Leon, and their two children, Lee and Nadia. 

Amy Hiel is in her 2nd year of teaching in Sauk Prairie, her 13th year teaching overall. She is a 3rd-5th Grade music teacher at Grand Avenue Elementary.  Before joining the Sauk Prairie Music team, she taught for 10 years at Gordon L Willson Elementary in Baraboo, WI, and 1 year of Elementary Band in the Robbinsdale, MN School District. Amy was born in Prairie du Sac, and spent the first two years of her life here, before moving to Prescott, WI.  It has completed the circle coming back to Sauk Prairie now for her career! She received her Bachelor's of Music Education at the University of Wisconsin- Eau Claire, where she was a member of the Trumpet Studio studying under Robert Baca, and received her Master's of Education from St. Mary's University of Minnesota. 

Musically, Amy plays in the Driftless Brass Quintet, Baraboo Community Band, the Baraboo Recorder Consort, and is excited to help work with the Sauk Prairie Community Children's Choir. She lives in Baraboo with her husband and three girls.
