BIO

The Current, Waconia High School’s high voltage show choir, under the direction of Izzy La Marca, and Assistant Director Manny Treichel, is in its twentieth competitive season. They are accompanied by the amazing band “WATT”, directed by Tanner Larson with assistance from Michael Peterson. This year The Current will be performing in Sauk Prairie, Wisconsin, Bloomington, Minnesota, Bettendorf, Iowa, and Ohama, Nebraska. Their season ends in Waconia as they host “Start Power” on February 17th. Choreographed by Kevin Chase, and Waconia Alumni Alex Schultz, The Current will perform the songs, Fast Paced Life, Stompa, What Was I Made For, Shut Up and Drive, and Life in the

Fast Lane.
