Impulse Show Choir, Wahlert Catholic High School's competitive ensemble from Dubuque, Iowa, is grateful to everyone who made this invitational possible. This year’s performance centers around the theme of revival. They kick off the show with Lightning Strike, symbolizing their bold return to the world. They move into Painting in the Rain, expressing the frustration of societal constraints, and in Caught in the Storm, they become overwhelmed by life's turbulence. However, they seize their chance to break free, returning with the powerful force of Frightening Lightning, knowing they are stronger than their barriers. Embracing the hope of a Brand New Day, they take each day as a chance to begin anew. Under the direction of Ella Schmidt and assistant Owen Borelli, with choreographers Bengt Eklund and assistant Dalton Myatt, and arrangements by Kevin Duggan, Impulse is excited to present its 2024-2025 show.
