Hi, I’m Shareeda LaMountain, but most people refer to me as Annie. For the past two years I’ve worked as a paraprofessional at the John Fuller School, working in grades K-1. Now, I’m pleased to be moving to Lakeside Elementary to work as a para with many students I know, but also many I will be coming to know for the first time. Before discovering my passion for teaching, I worked in accounting and banking.
Working with younger children, watching their eyes light up as they discover new things, is an absolute joy and inspiration to me. By helping to instill in our kids a love for learning, we are setting the stage for them to then become lifelong learners—something we all should strive to be. I also understand they are more than just students and that while they’re learning about math and science, they’re also learning about life and how to be good people and good citizens within their community. I do my best to help see them down both these paths.
I am a native of Trinidad and Tobago in the Caribbean but lived for some time in New York City before moving with my husband to his native Maine. In addition to being a teacher and a mom of three, I’m an avid gardener, tending to my ever-growing number of gardens. I also love to hike and enjoy all the beauty Maine and New Hampshire have to offer.
Thanks for sharing your kids with me!

Greetings, I am Mrs. Cane! I will be joining lakeside as support staff. I started last year at John Fuller School as a Classroom Aide in K/1, and then after Christmas break I took over as a long term sub for 6th grade literacy/social studies class. Last year was my first year at JFS, but I have worked in Conway school district for a long time & I am a lifelong MWV resident. I attended John Fuller & Pine Tree and graduated from Kennett, for 11 years I taught middle school math at KMS as well as other extra curricular activities- including Project SUCCEED after school program at Pine Tree & Conway El. I took some time off teaching to raise my 4 children, who are all ernrolled across our 4 Conway schools! My hobbies include downhill skiing, camping, traveling, & spending time with my family. I am looking forward to our first year here at Lakeside to create our new K-2 community!

Hello, my name is Katie although most people here call me Ms. J or Ms. Johnston. I was a paraprofessional at John Fuller Elementary for the last four years and am excited to continue my school career as a para at Lakeside Primary. I am a Bartlett NH native and went to Josiah Bartlett Elementary school and finished up at Kennett High School. I grew up in an in home daycare my mom had and took up babysitting as my first job. I have always loved children and helping people which was a big factor in obtaining my Bachelors in Human Services. I moved around the country some in my twenties before landing back in MWV almost 17 years ago. I am a proud Momma of 2 who have attended both John Fuller and Pine Tree schools for their elementary years. In my free time I enjoy time with my family and friends going to amusement parks, concerts, and fun events.
Here’s to a great first year at our “new” K-2 school!!

I have been working in the SAU9 district for many years as a Paraprofessional. I absolutely love helping assist children and teachers in the classroom. I took a few years off after the birth of my twin daughters to stay home with them. My daughters are all school-aged now and I am so happy to be back working as a Paraprofessional again. When I'm not in the classroom I enjoy hiking, walking, and being outdoors. I love to spend time with family and friends and I look forward to a great school year.

Hello! My name is Abigail Stringham and I am currently a Paraprofessional for Lakeside. While I love my para position, my goal is to be a teacher in an elementary school classroom. I had my own preschool classroom in Gorham Maine for two years, and decided I wanted to pursue teaching in a public school capacity. I have my Bachelor's degree in psychology from Salisbury University in Maryland. Along with my paraprofessional job at Lakeside, I also nanny, babysit, and pet sit. When I am not working, I can often be found with my puppy Chester, reading a good book, or being on the water somewhere.
