I have lived in the Mt. Washington Valley since I was in sixth grade. I feel so fortunate to call it home and to give back to this wonderful community. This is currently my 13th year working in the district. Prior to becoming a reading specialist, I taught kindergarten for eight years. I'm excited to have the opportunity of working with students throughout the whole school and supporting teachers. It is an honor to be part of the beginning stages of a child’s learning career here at Lakeside Primary.
When I’m not in school, I enjoy spending time with my family. We enjoy being outside and going on adventures throughout the valley. If you have any questions on how you can support your child in their writing or writing, you can always send me an email at a_cote@sau9.org

My name is Alicia Hill and I am a Reading Specialist at Lakeside Primary. I have been a teacher at CES for the last 14 years; 8 in the classroom and 6 supporting literacy instruction and students across the grades. I am excited for the opportunity to work with our youngest readers in the Conway Schools! When I am not teaching I am with my two young children and my husband enjoying all the things that this beautiful area has to offer.

My name is Sophie Edwards. I am thrilled to be a Title 1 teacher working with some of our youngest learners in the Conway schools. Though this is my 11th year in a teaching position, I attended Conway schools as a student. I am so grateful to be able to work so closely with the community that helped shape me. My favorite part of teaching is the ‘ah-ha’ moment when a kiddo really gets something they have been working on! I love to celebrate the big and small things and love the chance to help our students conquer their goals.
When I am not in school I am spending time with my two young kiddos and husband. We love to grab the dog and get outside to explore all that this beautiful area has to offer!

Greetings!
I started my teaching career after 26 years in the business world. I have a Masters Degree in Education from the University of New Hampshire.
I have taught at Josiah Bartlett Elementary, Conway Elementary, Pine Tree Elementary, and now Lakeside Primary. This will be my 13th year teaching. I taught second grade for 6 years and have been a Title l teacher for the remainder.
Teaching is a gratifying career. Building relationships with students and watching them grow as learners fills my bucket.
When I’m not teaching I spend time with my family and being active outdoors. Some of my favorite activities include biking, skiing, reading, hiking, and cooking.
