2nd Grade Teachers

This is my fourth year teaching and my fourth year in the Conway School District!

I have lived in many different states, including New Jersey, Indiana, North Carolina, New York, Massachusetts, and now New Hampshire!

When I'm not teaching, I enjoy hiking, going to the beach, coaching lacrosse, and relaxing with a good book!

I hope to instill a love of learning in my students, like my teachers did for me!

Here we go, second graders! My name is Jen Nelson, and I’m so excited to be your second-grader teacher! I live in Intervale with my husband, two daughters, and my dogs. I love anything that involves playing and being outside, especially when it involves my two pups, Milo and Gus! We have so many fun things to look forward to this year! My favorite aspect of teaching second grade is learning through play! I’ve been teaching here in the valley for 29 years. I started teaching at Kennett High School as the Little Eagles preschool teacher for six years, and then I taught first and second grade at Conway Elementary School for the last 23 years. 

Here are a few of my favorite things~

• My favorite color is blue,

• My favorite animal is a dog, all dogs with literally no exceptions.

• My favorite foods are raspberries, gummy bears, and chocolate.

• My favorite drink is Ginger ale,

• My favorite authors are Peter Reynolds, and Robert Munsch, who am I kidding my list of favorite authors could go on and on and on, you’ll see 😂

I’m Mrs. C! I grew up in New Hampshire and Maine. I have also lived in Massachusetts and Maryland. I have a MS.Ed from the University of New England.

Prior to becoming a grade 2 teacher, I worked as a 2/3 teacher, Title I teacher and in Special Education. I have loved working with children for as long as I can remember. Some of my favorite things are skiing, reading and building furniture. I have two daughters. Our family favorites are snowshoeing and hiking!

Hello! :) I’m Mrs. D. I have been teaching for 27 years as I love teaching and what the students teach me.…I’m looking forward to our year ahead! Second grade will be full of reading, exploring, learning and stretching our brains, to think in new ways. I look forward to our journey together.

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy being outdoors! You can find me in my kayak or swimming at the lake, reading in a cozy spot, relaxing by my flower garden, biking, skiing, knitting, crafting, walking or spending time with my boys & husband.

I am SO excited to be your teacher this year!! My name is Mrs. Goewey (pronounced 'G-oh-ee'). This will be an exciting year filled with lots of new friends, adventures and learning. I look forward to growing together. This will be my fifth year teaching. I am thrilled to be teaching second grade! Outside of the classroom, I enjoy all things outdoors! From hiking in the White Mountains to spending time near any body of water. I also cherish moments gathering with my family & friends, as well as hanging out with my puppy, Finn.
