What are Google Chrome Extensions?
Google Chrome Extensions are “applications that run inside the Chrome browser and provide additional functionality, integration with third party websites or services, and customized browsing experiences.” Note that some of these extensions are not required for use of the material/resource.
What is an App?
They are only meant to provide quick access...the modern day bookmark, if you will. They are basically websites and many do not require you to download anything.
Where do I find my apps and Extensions once I have added them to Chrome?
If you do not see your apps (see left side of image below), then select the menu (see right side). There you will want to choose "Bookmarks" and then "Show Bookmarks Bar".
For Extensions, you will find them under the menu on the right side as well. Once there, choose "More Tools" and then "Extensions".
