This year marks my sixteenth year in teaching and eighteenth in education. I have taught second, third, fourth, and fifth grade in a self-contained classroom. I also have worked with students in grades PreK to grade 8 through my work as the Gifted and Talented and Enrichment Coordinator.
I have lived in Illinois, Virginia. Ohio, California, and Massachusetts. I went to University of California, San Diego and graduated with a BS in Cognitive Science. I returned the following year to earn my Elementary Teaching Credential. I have a masters in General Special Education.
I am thrilled to have landed in New Hampshire, calling it my home. My husband and I are residents of Alton.
In my spare time, I help my husband with our family business, Winnipesaukee Woods Farm. I grow all of our cut flowers and help him with harvesting, weeding, planting, and farmer's markets. For fun, I like to run, hike, read, paint, and learn more about carpentry.
