Third Grade Completes School Pamphlets

With all of the new arrivals at our school, our thired graders thought it would be a great idea to make a pamphlet that would be available for new families to take when they first arrive at our school. This pamphlet includes a map with a map key, teacher names and grades, and some fun facts about our school.

This project allowed the students to apply their learning in Social Studies to a real-world situation. They learned about map keys and the compass rose and were able to include both in our design!
