As a school we are part of the St Aloysius Parish. The parish has supported the school in many ways throughout the years. We look for opportunities to build community with our parish. Each week one class attends parish Mass on a Thursday morning.
Many students participate in parish Sacramental programs. The sacraments of Confirmation, Reconciliation and First Eucharist are offered to children who have been baptised in the Catholic tradition. This program takes place in Grade 3 and 4. Preparation and support is extended through our Parish Based sacramental program and is supported through the school's Religious Education lessons. Details of the sacramental program will be advertised through the school newsletter, for further information, please contact Bernadette (Parish coordinator) on 0455212123.
We welcome Fr Eugene McKinnon as the new Parish Priest of St. Aloysius, he will commence in January 2021.
St. Aloysius school is diverse in its culture and faith backgrounds of students. We endeavour to celebrate all whilst keeping the Catholic tradition at the centre of all we do. As a school community we offer many opportunities to celebrate the Catholic tradition during the important liturgical events of the Church year.
We celebrate different occasions such as, Mother's Day/Father's Day, and our school Feast day. We participate whole school prayer every Friday morning 8:40am. You are most welcome to participate in all events as a member of our school community.
