Please remember to name all items of clothing, particularly hats, school jumper, rugby jumper, coats and vests.
In line with our SunSmart policy a broad brimmed hat is compulsory for outdoor play during First Term and Fourth Term.
A. At the beginning of the year, you will be notified of the day that your child will participate in Specialist activities, including Sport. On this day of the week, your child will wear their Sports Uniform.
A. The best way to communicate with your child's teacher is to either write a note in their School Diary or to phone the office to make an appointment to meet with your child's teacher. School Diaries are checked by the teacher each day, so this is often an effective form of communication.
A. We are not a 'Nut free School' so this means that children are to bring products containing nuts to school. We just ask children to be cautious in not sharing their food with others.
A. No jewellery is to be worn please, other than watches and studs for pierced ears. We ask that any hair ribbons and accessories are the school colours (Navy, Maroon & Gold).
A. If your child is not able to be picked up straight away after the bell, they will be shown where they need to wait. This is our 'Blue Rectangle' which is located out the front of the School at our Leith Street entrance. Children will be supervised in this area by a staff member.
A. Your child will need to go to the office to be signed in and to receive a 'late pass' if they arrive at school after 9:10am.
A. In the event of an absence, you need to phone the School Office to advise us of your child's absence or you can use the PAM program to notify the school.
School must be advised of all student absences so that reasons are recorded according to attendance regulations.
Parents of any child absent with an unexplained absence will be contacted from between 9:30-10:00am on the day of absence.
A. The canteen operates on a Friday. Orders can be places anytime through the Flexischools online ordering system by 9am on the Thursday prior.

A. Some children attending school require medication. It is our school policy that teachers only within specific guidelines will administer prescribed medication.
-No medication will be given to a child without the written permission of a parent/guardian
-Medication must be supplied by parents in the original packaging, clearly marked with the student's name, the name of the medication, the dosage, frequency of administration and the prescribing doctor's name.
-Medication must be handed to the office - with appropriate notification to the class teacher
-Any side effects of the drug being administered must be explained by the parents to the office/ classroom teacher
-Parents/guardians must sign a School Medication Authority.
A. In line with our SunSmart policy the children will need to wear their hats for all outside activities in Term 1 and Term 4. The children's hats will remain at school during these terms. Your child will receive their school hat as part of their welcome pack, please clearly name your child's hat. Please note that school policy regarding uniform requires your child to wear a broad rimmed hat for sun protection.
A. Yes, just like the lunch box, your child will need to bring their water bottle each day. The children will take them home each day to wash and refill for the following day.
