P4 Football Table

Brief

Students have to create a Football Table based on certain criteria. They need to follow the technical and engineering rules to help them through the design and construction phases. Finally, all students must present their research and Football Table to their classes.

Criteria

• Recycled material (cardboard, plastic, fabrics, threads, wires, ...)

• At least. one mechanism (linear, rotary and transformation motion, as well other mechanism)

• Base of Fruit Box (21x29.7 cm) and maximum high of 50 cm (virtual box of 21x29,7x50 cm)

• Maximum budged: 0 euros

• All processes must be documented: text, photo, drawings and video

Steps

1. Create your own design on a page of your notebook. Find more information or examples on the internet, think about the materials, draw some sketches, check the budget, stablish a calendar,...

2. Choose one of your own designs. All process will be note on your Technical Report made with Google Docs. Again, think about the materials, draw some sketches, check the budget, stablish a calendar,... ...

Calendar

Confirm with your teacher your class deadline in each step of the process.

1. Week 14-18 February: initial design on your notebook

2. Week 21-25 February: transform initial design into a final design project.

3. Week 28-04 February: final design project ready to be done.
