2025-26 ELL Population: 

12 students: Level 1 (7 of these students are "newcomers"; 3 or less years in US schools)

24 students: Level 2

13 student: Level 3

Total: 49/218=22%

11 students on the cusp of RFEP (Reclassified English Proficient)

Reclassification Process:

Step 1: students must score a 4 on ELPAC; Multilingual Learner Dep't will send us list of these students who are eligible for reclassification based on ELPAC (note that the state raised the “cutpoints” for Level 4 recently-so, it is now more difficult to score at Level 4)

Step 2: student must have met current basic skills (SBAC or other assessment-MLL Dep't will send list of assessments we can use)

Step 3: Teachers fill out recommendation/evaluation form; student must have at least a 2 in English Language Arts
