4 STEAM Community Forums will be held throughout the year. Community Forums are an opportunity for teachers to:

• Connect with their colleagues across the district

• Share STEAM bright spots

• Address challenges and questions

Community forums will take place from 4-5 p.m. on the following Tuesdays: 10/25, 1/31, 3/14, 5/16. All teachers are invited to attend the Community Forums and will be paid 1 hour of time for attending the Community Forum.

Please register according to your grade level for each section you plan to attend on Professional Learning (Up to 4 sections per person).

STEAM MOOCs on each K-4 grade level project are being created in Coursera for teachers to gain a deeper understanding of each project's components and to develop ideas around STEAM facilitation.

The first unit for all grade levels is available. NEW Teachers to STEAM will be paid 4 hours to complete the course. We will review who has completed the course on Friday, September 30th and again on December 30th to submit timecards. December 30th is the final deadline for completing the first course.
