Project Description: Students will explore computer science concepts and create a Scratch project to show how computer science is changing the world.Â

Students learn that coding is fun and use coding to share information.
Teachers learn about computer science, computer programming, CA CS Standards, and the instructional strategies that support them. Teacher as lead learner!

3-5.CS.2 Demonstrate how computer hardware and software work together as a system to accomplish tasks.
3-5.AP.12 Create programs that include events, loops, and conditionals.
3-5.AP.13 Decompose problems into smaller, manageable tasks which may themselves be decomposed.
