Musical Theatre

Musical Theatre at Mira Mesa High School is taught be Mr. Kriley and it is a 7th period class that works on creating a large two-hour musical performance of any musical discussed and approved by Mr. Kriley (Director), Ms. Teng (Music Director) and Ms. Patterson (Choreographer).  Intended to combine all performing arts courses together, Musical Theatre includes, tech theatre, spoken dialogue/acting , dance, and instrumental and vocal music.  It can be a challenging experience for all musicianship levels but at the end of the season, students tend to say that it was all worth it in the end. 

After months of making memorable moments together and long lasting friendships, being part of the musical is the best thing that any Performing Arts student can to do for themselves.
