Welcome to the Arts Education Project
The SDUSD VAPA team is happy to be providing the Arts Education Project at your school this year. We and our team of AEP Visiting Teachers, trained with standards based and sequential lesson written by VAPA’s Resource Teachers, look forward to providing your students quality learning in the Visual and Performing Arts this year while giving your grade level teams regular time to collaborate in their PLC’s.
Why AEP?
STANDARDS BASED
Students participate in quality, standards-based, sequential learning in Dance, Music, Theatre and Visual Art from trained VAPA Visiting Teachers.
REGULAR COLLABORATION
Classroom teachers receive dependable PLC release time without having to prepare lesson plans.
ONGOING SUPPORT
Principals develop, support and participate in ongoing collaboration focused on student achievement.
