Keep your SAMS account up to date - you will get a notification in SAMS (on the website - click the little bell icon) telling you 30 days before something is going to expire.
SICK LEAVE FOR SUBSTITUTE EMPLOYEES:
The Healthy Workplaces Healthy Families Act of 2014 provides paid sick leave to substitute employees who work for 30 days or more in a year (July 1-June 30). Eligible employees will accrue 1 hour of sick leave for every thirty hours worked through the course of the fiscal year. Complete this form and submit to the AEP Secretary to access your accrued leave when needed.

The Golden State Teacher Grant (GSTG) Program awards up to $20,000 to students currently enrolled in a professional preparation program approved by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) and working towards earning their preliminary teaching or pupil personnel services credential.
Students must:
Complete their program and obtain their credential within 3 years from the first distribution of GSTG funds.
Commit to work at a priority school in California for 4 years within 8 years of completing their program.
