Objective: I can use my voice. I can hear the difference between speaking and singing.

Extensions:
Practice differentiating between speaking and singing (hearing which is which and/or practicing speaking and singing yourself).
Do rhythmic chants and fingerplays with the class. We did "One, Two, Buckle My Shoe" in this lesson.
Sing simple, repetitive songs with the class. We did "If You're Happy and You Know It" in this lesson.

Have students use their imaginations to become animals. Focus on using their bodies and voices in new ways.
