Extensions: 

• Use this tempo picture to practice moving at each of these speeds (we learned largo, andante, allegro, and presto). Then listen to any piece of music and ask students to determine which tempo word best fits its speed.

• Play/watch this animation of "The Hall of the Mountain King", where the tempo gets faster and faster.

Objective:  I can create tableaux with my body to tell a story with a group

Extensions:

• Character Swap Tableau: Students work in pairs, choosing a character from a known story or create their own. Partners take turns directing each other to pose as the chosen character, while the other acts it out. This extension encourages creativity and empathy as students embody different characters.
