VAPA PLCs: The Arts Education Project
PLC Release Time using Title 1 or Other Funds
VAPA’s Arts Education Project (AEP) provides elementary schools with specialized visual and performing arts substitutes during regular grade-level PLC teacher collaboration time. AEP is scheduled at your site for one visit per grade-level every 5 weeks throughout the school year, for a total of 6 visits.
Students participate in quality standards-based sequential learning in Dance, Music, Theatre and Visual Art from trained VAPA Visiting Teachers
Classroom teachers receive regular PLC release time without having to prepare lesson plans
Principals develop, support and participate in ongoing collaboration with their grade-level teams
