Doc.: Teaching Observation - English Language Education - Spring Semester 2024
Strategies: Promote reflective practice for ongoing excellence of teaching and learning at SU.
One of the CETL's programs is facilitating SU Teaching Observation (NECHE 6.17). The process of conducting the SU Teaching Observation involves various steps to ensure the quality of teaching at the university. Pak Manoharan Karthigasu will play a significant role in this endeavor by participating as one of the observers. The purpose of the teaching observation is to assess and enhance the teaching methods employed by lecturers.
During this process, designated observers will attentively witness teaching sessions conducted by different instructors. They will focus on various aspects, such as instructional techniques, student engagement, classroom management, and the overall effectiveness of the teaching approach. Observers like Pak Manoharan will carefully take notes and analyze the teaching methods to provide valuable insights.
The Guidelines for the Teaching Observation are attached below.
