Course Credits (20% of Course Grade)

Students will recieve 20 course credits through participating in the gamification of teaching and learning project (experimental group) or the groudp-based teaching and learning activity (control group) in this course and completeing the pre and post questionnaires.

• 5 points: completion of Time 1 Questionnaire (to be completed BEFORE/AT the class of Week 3 [Sep 22 or 23])

• 10 points: participation/attendance in the 10 sessions (25 min/per session on 6 days) of gamification of teaching and learning or group-based teaching and learning (1 point/session)

• 5 points: completion of Time 2 Questionnaire (to be completed AFTER Week 11 [Nov 17or 18] and BEFORE Week 12 [Nov 24 or 25])

Alternative assignment: For some reason, if a student did NOT complete a pre or post or both Questionnaires, he or she can complete an Alternative Assignment (per missed Questionnaire) as a make-up. (An Alternative Assignment is a worksheet to be completed based on the student’s reading and understanding of a journal article on a related topic.)
