During class on Wednesday, students rotated around deciding whether they thought each statement (from the anticipation guide) was true or false. If they believed it was false, they need to add a reason why and/or a way to make it true ie. We can vote at 16. They put it was false and amended it by saying you need to be 18.
For this activity, students in the class decided whether the statement for each was true or false. If they believed it was true they would put a T on the chart paper, if they believed it was false, they would put a sticky note with why they thought it was false and how it could be true.
After watching the videos, going through the PPT and class anticipation activity, students will fill in the scavenger hunter activity using the notes provided.
