Music Appreciation

We will listen and analyze many different musical themes and genres each class and discuss why it sounds the way it does, what the artist was thinking about when they arranged the piece and observing musical technique, style, and other musical subjects. We will also have the chance to play music and share music at the end of each class. The goal is to get people interested in music and how it works and what it does to us as people. Dispositions: Intellectual Curiosity, Interpersonal Skills, Community Engagement.
