Personalized Learning Choice Novels: Each quarter, students will select ONE novel from each quarter list to read and complete a Playlist of Assignments for:

• 1st Quarter Choice Reading: Bless Me, Ultima, I Am Not Your Perfect Mexican Daughter, or The Hate U Give

• 2nd Quarter Choice Reading: Twelve Angry Men, Zoot Suit, or A Raisin in the Sun

• 3rd Quarter Choice Reading: Night, The Book Thief, or The Help

• 4th Quarter Mandatory Reading: Rain of Gold

• StudySync Anthology & Online Learning

• Possible Other Novels, Expository Texts, Short Stories, Poems, etc. to be Selected at a Later Date

Materials Needed:

• One 3-Ring Binder with Dividers

• College-Ruled Notebook Paper

• Pens/Pencils

• Highlighters

• Puente Planner

• Access to Google Drive, Google Classroom, StudySync, CommonLit and Aeries Portal
