In Memorium - Mary George 

Evelyn (Mary) Reid was born 14th May 1935 to parents August William Reid (Gus) and Martha Ivy Schonfelder. 

Mary married Bernard Williams in 1954 and had three children. 

In 1973 Mary married Lindsay Norman George who had two children. They enjoyed raising their 5 children together.

Mary George  devoted an enormous amount of time, energy and expense towards researching the descendants of Malen and Alice Rumbelow.  She has compiled an amazing record in copies of documents, newspaper clippings, photographs and records of conversations on each of the families involved, and without her effort this book would not have been possible.

Mary passed peacefully amongst her family on 21 September 2020.
