A Gantt chart is a 'table' showing your projected use of time to solve the problem you are undertaking. The table should have 2 rows for each area of your coursework showing when you planned to complete a section and then when it actually happened. You do not lose marks if you do not stick to your timeplan!
You also need to include a Key as to what the colours mean i.e. planned, actual.
The columns should be separated ideally by weeks or you can use dates if you wish.
At the end of your project, before handing in, you should visit this time plan fillingin all areas and add text boxes to explain what happened.
You need to change the dates and key colours for your project. I would recommend doing this table in Excel, Pages or Numbers.
This is a great example as it includes text boxes to explain what happened. The text boxes were added at the end of the project.
