Department Guide

This section of the Geography Department Guide provides information on writing assignments, including finding and evaluating literature, plagiarism and copyright issues, writing essays, putting together posters, presentations and other ways of communicating information. An excellent resource, while aimed at postgraduates, is still useful for undergraduate students, is the booklet titled "Supporting Academic Writing Practices in Postgraduate Studies" produced by the Centre for Postgraduate Studies here at Rhodes University.
