Opportunity Knocks

My artwork looks like two doors, one is wide open, and the other is closed. I made it by using acrylic paint and used an 8x10 canvas. I used the idea of doors to show that it's easier for white people to succeed at getting jobs, better opportunities, and equality than for black people. 

My inspiration was seeing equality and Injustice and people being mistreated. Some of the social injustices are seeing all the racial violence on the news all the time, and it is ALL the time. For example, the impactful information was seen by people saying to make New England white again. I try to show how it's not fair for other races and religions as it is for whites. I think that it makes no seams new england was never just white. There have been people there before us, and they're not white. 

I have learned that race is nothing. It's the person that you should care about, not the color of their skin. I hope that people learn that people are people and they have feelings. It's not about their skin color. People are people, and you should not hate them because of their skin or religion.
