Artist Statement

Rights Should Flow Like Water

To create my artwork I used a large 20 x24  canvas, paint brushes and paint. 

The big idea behind my artwork is about space and human rights. In my research I found out about racism in schools. I found out about a school in Georgia that was banning Black Lives Matter clothes at their school, but the students sued the district because of freedom of speech. 

What I found out about through this process is that I’m decent at painting.
