Outdoor Learning Spaces

We are working on creating as many outdoor learning spaces for students as possible. These will be able to used in Yellow and Green learning plans. Some of the outside learning spaces are more weather dependent than others. We are looking to have 10-12 outside learning spaces for students. We are working on adding a wifi coverage outside to allow the laptops to still be used in some of the spaces.

If anyone has ideas for other outside learning spaces at FMS, please let us know.

This is one of several outside tents for a class to use. We will add chairs, tables and whiteboards. There are walls we would only use if needed, we want the total airflow when possible. This is larger than an inside classroom and would only have 12 students in it in Yellow (Hybrid).

This is a more natural outside learning space students could bring seats to have a lesson or a more active outside lesson. There are 2-3 of these spaces at our school. Some of the spaces are slightly smaller than a classroom and others are larger.

This is a another natural learning environment by the bus circle for students. This space is much larger than a classroom.
