Tips on Talent Dec '25

Her talent is "EMPATHY. She always understands the students point of view of students and how things make them feel. She always makes sure to make the lesson fun but still educational",From Lasalle Springs. Empathy is something you admire someone for, because having empathy some say is being a good person towards others and understanding their feelings; which is a valuable characteristic of an individual.

From the same student as before, they state that most teachers are nice, but Mrs. Berkley really understands how we feel.  Showing care and empathy for students really emphasizes how much teachers and staff members really do, and what they see in our students, and not just grades. 

She listens to students, treating them with the same respect and authority they show her with. This is a way of using the 'golden rule', treat people how you want to be treated. 

Here at Lasalle we appreciate care and kindness, as well as respect. Respecting others is a way of making the environment a little more calm and less harmful, whoever you may be with.
