Staff and Student Thanksgiving Interviews
We went around LSMS interviewing staff and students about thanksgiving related questions. Below are the questions we asked:
What is your favorite Thanksgiving food?
What are two things you are thankful for?
Do you have any Thanksgiving related traditions?
Do you prefer pumpkin pie or apple pie?
Here are the responses:
Teachers:
Mrs. Berkley- Mrs. Berkley's favorite Thanksgiving food is stuffing. She is thankful for her husband and her two kids, Eli and Owen. A tradition that Mrs. Berkley always follows is the making of a pumpkin pecan pie with her husband. If she had to pick between pumpkin and apple pie, she would pick apple.
Mrs Dolan- Mrs. Dolan's favorite Thanksgiving food is mashed potatoes. She is thankful for her family and her friends that are like family to her as well. Mrs. Dolan doesn't have any traditions specific to thanksgiving but always enjoys getting together with her family and spending time with them. She prefers apple pie over pumpkin pie unless the pumpkin pie is covered with lots of whipped cream!
Mrs. Cramer- Mrs. Cramer's favorite Thanksgiving food is cranberry sauce. Two things she is thankful for are her kids and her students. A Thanksgiving tradition that her and her family always participate in is watching the Thanksgiving Day Macy's Parade and saying what they are thankful for at Thanksgiving dinner.
Students:
Grant Schmanke 7th Grade- Grant's favorite Thanksgiving food is mashed potatoes. He is thankful for his mom and football. Every year as a tradition he goes to his grandmas house for thanksgiving. He prefers pumpkin pie over apple pie.
Quincy Dean 8th Grade- Quincy's favorite Thanksgiving food is mac and cheese. She is thankful for all of her family and friends. Every year her dad makes mac and cheese. And she argues that pumpkin pie is the best type of pie.
Tessa Laughlin 6th Grade- Tessa is a 6th grader here at Lasalle Springs Middle School! Her favorite Thanksgiving food is mashed potatoes. Tessa is thankful for her family and the sports that she plays. Every Thanksgiving, her family goes to her great aunt's house in Chicago and they do a different craft every year! Between pumpkin and apple pie, she would definitely prefer pumpkin!
