What has the Need Squad been up to?
The Need Squad is an 8th-grade Ac lab in Mr. Tenny's room. They help out the school by creating signs, fixing chairs, and even making tables!
Lizzie Danner, Avery Van Essen, and Rylee Gough worked hard on a table for Mrs Adams. They had to use perseverance and problem-solving in many ways. The first one is trying to fit the table inside the elevator. During this project, they learned how to use the cordless drill.
Dillon Delmainn, Hudson Hawkins, Nick Laughlin, and Bryson Leuthauser are working on Spanish signs for Mrs. Montgomery's class. Many people still think it is the French room, so making signs for the class will really help students out!
Dillon Delmain and Bryson Leuthauser are also working on a table for our registrar, Mrs Early. They faced a difficult challenge while unscrewing the screws, and they had to take the whole table apart to redo it.
Mason Zambo, Mason Hanley, Liam Lane, and Gavin Czarnki are repairing broken chairs. They make sure that no chairs are uneven or falling apart. So far this year, they have finished 5 chairs, a few for Mrs. Wasielewski.
Mason Zambo, Braeden Coombs, Gavin Czarnki, Lizzie Danner, Dillion Delmain, Rylee Gough, Mason Hanley, Hudson Hawkins, Max Kohlberb, Liam Lane, Nick Laughlin, Bryson Leuthauser, Adam Lyon, Anthony Moore, and Avery Van Essen were all part of the first-quarter Need Squad.
What does it mean to be a part of the Need Squad?
Dillion - "It lets us use our ability to help people in need".
Mason - "It allows us to have fun while working."
Lizzie - "We have fun and help people save money."
Adam - "It's good teamwork, and we get to work with people."
Thank you, Need Squad!!
