EMERGENCY NOTIFICATIONS
When severe weather affects the school day, Rapides Parish and Pineville High School both do everything they can to keep families in the know.
alerts will be posted on the District and school websites
announcements will be posted to the school's social media accounts
information will be relayed through local television stations
a phone call will be delivered to the phone numbers on file for all students
a Remind message will be sent to devices and/or emails that are subscribed to notifications (more information below)
In the event of all emergencies, including those not due to weather, student safety is the school's top priority. We will do everything we can to communicate with the families of the students involved in an accurate and timely manner, and through the channels (phone, email, text, social media, etc.) we deem appropriate depending on the circumstances of the emergency.
