Northwestern State University has partnered with PHS to offer courses for college credit to our high school's students. This provides a unique opportunity to students, as they can earn college credit while enrolled in the familiar environment of their high school. Students may enroll in courses offered at the high school taught by their high school faculty. Students may also enroll in traditional courses offered on NSU’s campus, and online courses directly through NSU. Click here to order your official transcript from NSU. You can view an unofficial version in myNSU.

Students must have a minimum 3.0 high school GPA and excellent attendance.

Tuition
Pineville High School and Northwestern State University are pleased to offer the Associate in General Studies degree to students at the minimum cost of $25 per college course. The majority of course costs are covered by the school board and state department of education.
Textbooks
Courses with physical textbooks will provide students with any materials necessary for completing the course. Some teachers may ask students to purchase one or more required materials for the course. It is the student's responsibility to acquire these materials.
NSU uses the IncludED Textbook Program so some courses have digital textbooks. The costs for these books are billed to the student's NSU account and covered under their tuition. Students are not responsible for paying for these textbooks.
Course Transferability
Students should access the State of Louisiana Board of Regents’ website to view the Master Course Articulation Matrix. Students should consult with the Registrar’s Office of the institution they plan on attending after high school prior to enrolling in dual enrollment courses to verify course transferability.
