Spenser Waters | Physical Education
Spenser Waters has been a PE teacher for 4 years in Rapides Parish. He has an amazing wife who is a former FHJH teacher, and her new job is being an amazing Mom to their two amazing kids, Olive and Wells.
He started his education career at FHJH and is very excited to be coming home. He will be half of the Forest Hill PE team and is looking forward to Mrs. Boone. He can't wait for the 2020 school year and is ready to meet the best students in the world!

Patricia "PJ" Boone | Physical Education
Mrs. Boone lives Lecompte with her husband, John, her two sons, Nathan and Austin, and their two dogs, Lincoln and Kira. She graduated from LSUA with a bachelors and earned a Masters from ULM. She has been teaching for over 15 years. She is also the Girls Basketball Coach.
She earned her bachelors degree in Elementary Education from Louisiana State University Alexandria and her masters degree from University Louisiana- Monroe in Curriculum and Education. She has been teaching for 17 years. Previously, Mrs. Boone has taught 3rd grade, 5-7 grade Writing, Special Education, and is now in her 4th year of teaching PE. She is also the Girl’s Basketball Coach at FHJH.
In her free time, Mrs. Boone enjoys working out, watching all sports (especially LSU), & camping with her family.

Meagan McLaughlin | Librarian
Mrs. McLaughlin is beginning her fifth year as the librarian at Forest Hill Junior High and her twelfth year in education. She graduated from LSU Alexandria in 2008 with a degree in Business Administration. After deciding that teaching was her heart’s desire, she took a job as a Special Education teacher while being enrolled in the TEACH Program at Louisiana College. After earning her teaching certificate, she continued courses at LC to earn her Master of Arts in Teaching. In 2013, she moved to Oklahoma where she continued to teach Special Education until returning to Louisiana and becoming the librarian at FHJH.
In her spare time, Mrs. McLaughlin enjoys spending time with her husband of nine years and two girls, Violet and Meredith. They love to travel, especially to their favorite vacation spot - Disney World! Mrs. McLaughlin, of course, also loves to read and listen to audiobooks.

Leslie Winners | Spanish
Mrs. Winners is a 1996 graduate of LSU with a degree in Spanish. She is from Forest Hill and attended FHE as a child. She and her husband have five children: Mathew, Nicolas, Elena, Elijah, and Noah. She enjoys reading mysteries, cooking, traveling, and gardening.

Crystal Perkins | Explore Lab/FastForword
Crystal Perkins was born and raised in Forest Hill, Louisiana. She began working at Forest Hill Junior High in 2008. She enjoys reading and spending time with her family.

Angie Anderson | Art
Angie Anderson is originally from Oklahoma. She says that "Louisiana has been a very fun and interesting place to live." She has been married to David Anderson for 34 years, and they have 3 wonderful children. Her family is growing with the addition of a beautiful daughter-in-law and an adorable grandson. Ms. Anderson is starting her 9th year as a Special Education Paraprofessional and is excited to step into the role of instructing fun art activities with our elementary students.
