Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is an evidence-based three-tiered framework to improve and integrate all of the data, systems, and practices affecting student outcomes every day. PBIS creates schools where all students succeed.

"Respect. Honor. Responsibility. Growth.

We are learning to be the BEST that we can be."

In our classrooms, students are expected to follow the motto set forth by our school. Any behavior that does not exemplify the motto above will not be tolerated.

In addition, FHJH has outlined the following specific rules which are posted in every class.

Respect:

1. Talk only when given permission

2. Use materials properly

3. Zero Disturbance Zone

Honor:

4. Follow classroom procedures

Responsibility:

5. Have/bring all materials

6. Complete all assignments

Bulldog Bucks

Forest Hill Junior High uses Bulldog Bucks as a school-wide economy. Students earn Bulldog Bucks for displaying positive behaviors that exemplify our school core values: respect, honor, responsibility, and growth. Any faculty or staff member may reward students with Bulldog Bucks at any point; however, homeroom teachers also have the opportunity to convert ClassDojo points into Bulldog Bucks regularly.

Bulldog Bucks may be used to purchase rewards once a quarter during Bulldog Blitz Week or to purchase item from the Bulldog Store held twice a year.
