When we are motivated by goals that have deep meaning. By dreams that need completion, by pure love that needs expressing, then we truly live life.

On December 14, 2018 Crossroads Learning Center had an auction at 1:30 to approximately 3:20. Dr. Villines, from RHS, is an auctioneer who came in and volunteered his own time to help us with our auction. At the auction there were multiple items that were being auctioned off. There was candy, socks, pillows, lotions, headphones, portable chargers,etc.

Our homeroom teachers gave us our point sheet paper to bid for the things. that they were Auctioning from the points us students got from coming everyday to school and being a good student like for example, being on time to school not getting written up and just being a good student and not causing trouble can get you a lot of points for your point sheets. Once the auction got started everyone got their sheets ready and it started first thing they auctioned was a drone and everyone from middle school to high school seniors got there sheets and the bidding kept going up went from 500 points to almost 6,500 points in less then 1 minute. and the lucky student who got it was Aaron from middle school and he paid 6,500 points for a drone in the auction and we all started bidding for different things like cups, pillows, toys, headphones, chargers, and many more things. that were going to be bid on for the Auction. I think that the auction went pretty good from my point of view. Everyone seemed to be well behaved for the most part. The auctioneer seemed to be having fun even though he had to be a lot louder for a bit because the students had gotten a bit loud and rambunctious. After all the things were gone we all headed to our life skills class and then stayed till the day ended.
