On October 3rd, 2018, for First Wednesday we went to the Rogers Activity Center & played a game of Mountie Ball. Mountie Ball is a combination of football and ultimate Frisbee. To start the game off one team is on one end of the gym & the other team is on the other end, one of the teams starts of with the football & a teammate throws the football to the other team. Once the other team gets a hold of the ball everyone scatters around & the team with the ball passes it to their teammates until they get to the other end of the gym to gain 1-2 points, unless the team playing against them blocks a pass & gets a hold of it & passes it to their team till they get to the other end of the gym to gain 1-3 points. Each team played very well, put a great amount of effort to win & were great competition. At the end of the day Coach Simmons’ class took 1st place, Mr. Lambert’s class took 2nd place & Mr. Sallings’ class took 3rd place. After every class finished their last game, we loaded up the buses & headed back to school. When we arrived back at school we all ate lunch & then headed to our homerooms to spend the rest of the time we had doing whatever activities our teachers had us doing. Overall October’s First Wednesday was a blast & each team played with great effort.
