How to create instructional groups in Seesaw
When first introducing an activity to students, it can be helpful to walk them through the activity together before asking them to work independently. To help with this, Seesaw has created a sample student that you can enable in your classroom. The teacher can easily select the sample student to complete an activity without signing out of the account. Watch the video below to see the sample student in action.
Skills are preloaded to match the RPS competencies on your report card. Just set your class for the correct grade level to see the correct skills.
In this section you will explore ways to create student assignments that extend classroom instruction. Videos and tutorials provided will walk you through browsing the community library of activities, how to tailor lessons to your classroom's needs, and what to do when students submit work.
Customize activities you find in Seesaw Library
Seesaw is all in one app. Parents, Teachers and Students use the same website or app for a mobile device to log in and access classes.

These samples provide you with possibilities for student sharing and for you to gain insight into their thinking. Not all students are vocal during a whole group lesson and we miss the opportunity to hear their thoughts. Students can record audio, video or take a picture through Seesaw. You will be able to individualize work for students and give them a voice to share their knowledge.
Below you will find a document with links to Seesaw examples from our own RPS teachers and students. You can click on each link to watch and listen to students explaining their learning.
