Screencastify
Screencastify
Screencastify can:
record the screen of your device and/or your webcam
turn any video (yours, YouTube, etc.) into a video quiz
edit videos (clip parts out, add text, blur images, join videos together, zoom in on areas, etc)
enable translation of captions, transcriptions, and (on your videos) voice
All RPS students and staff have access to Premium Screencastify. The premium edition gives access to many video libraries (YouTube, Khan Academy, and more), allows for unlimited videos with a longer recording length, and automatically integrates with Google Drive. Screencastify also allows for advanced editing options and allows users to share the video with others.
Look along the top right-hand side of your browser to find the extensions. You will see the small orange arrow - that is your screencastify tool.
When you create a screencast the first time you will login using your Google RPS account and the app will automatically create a folder titled SCREENCASTIFY in your Drive and put all of your recordings in that folder for easy storage and reuse.
