Get in Touch with Nature at Springfield’s Lincoln Memorial Gardens
Wildflowers, native grass, lake views, and history are all in one convenient location: Lincoln Gardens. They have beautiful adventurous trails that take you around the gardens, which are a tribute to the times when Lincoln himself walked the lands of Illinois. This garden's nature is native to President Lincoln. The tribute to Lincoln and the mesmerizing gardens to show the impact he made for everyone. Open from sunrise to sunset, come to this free adventurous park.

No matter the season, the trails are filled with people walking to enjoy nature or running to get exercise. You can see deer running through the woods, bussing and chirping from the insects, and rustling leaves from the wind. It's all beautiful and peaceful to connect yourself to.
Throughout the year, the garden hosts several family activities to bring people together. Everyone helps and enjoys their time together. Festivals are a big thing. The Fall Harvest Festival is a major one. Kids can create trolls to put near the trees, create their own fairy garden, decorate pumpkins, build a scarecrow, and more!

Presidential gardens aren’t just a tribute to their namesake; they are educational too. You can learn more about the garden and its history at the Nature Center. Here, you'll learn the history here and the growth of the garden. Inside the Nature Center is a gift shop. You can buy gifts and collectables to remember your visit.
Once you visit, you will understand why it’s so important to keep this garden well-maintained. There are several volunteer opportunities. You can host, help special events, assist with school children who come on a field trip, and more!
