In late 2023, Robot Garden upgraded the Avid CNC from a 4x4 cutting bed on custom built legs to a 4x8 cutting bed with the AVID Pro heavy-duty legs. All other hardware specifications are the same.

SOFTWARE
This CNC mill uses Mach4 control and Vectric V-Carve design software. A PC with this software is already configured and available for use.
The Vectric V-Carve license is a "makerspace license". Users can download a free copy of the software and run it locally on their personal computers. In order to obtain a free license, request an invitation link that will allow you to download the software associated with our makerspace license. Projects created with this license will only be using the equipment licensed by Robot Garden.
