Course Request Details

From January 20 - 23, 2026, counselors presented to students in their literature classes to help students understand their 2026-27 course request options as well as the steps on how to add course requests to Aeries using Academic Plans. The Aeries Academic Plan is how MLKHS counselors can track a student's course requests. Parents and students can review the Academic Plan on Aeries by going to Classes > Academic Plan.

Please note: The submission of this form does not validate nor guarantee any pending transfer requests submitted to the Pupil Services Department. This paperwork will not be processed and no student schedule will be created without notification from the Pupil Services Department that a transfer request from a student who resides outside of the Martin Luther King High School boundaries has been approved.

Anticipated Sport/Athletic Scheduling for 2026-2027

Visit the link below for anticipated athletics period scheduling for 2026-27. These are the planned periods for PE Sport, though there is a small likelihood that changes may still occur based on staffing and other needs. Placement into a sport PE period is not guaranteed.
