Tech uploads the new devices into Destiny resource manager ahead of time.
Librarians create the Student Barcode Labels grouped by Homeroom and check for potential inconsistencies between Destiny and Q.
In Destiny:
- Reports
- Patron Reports
- Barcode Labels
- Select by - Homeroom
- Use label stock - Avery white address labels (style 5160)
- Printer offset - Horizontal: 0 Vertical: 15
Label sheet in printer: Avery 5160, 30 labels per sheet
On the day of, Librarians & Tech label the devices, add the adhesive plastic and check them out to the students
- Adhesive: Super Tough Poly Label Protectors 1 1/2" H x 3 1/4" W. Rolls of 200, 500 or 1000. Suppliers: Kapco, The Library Store, Demco
Device Rollout - Carts
The night before Technology Champions and Teachers take the devices they want to keep (Surplus) on site out of the carts. Then they deliver the carts with the discards to the "rollout room".
On the day of Tech removes chargers, rewires and reloads the carts and takes away the discards.

Invoicing - two strikes rule
The 2nd identical incident is invoiced to the parent.
The site puts in a ticket and notifies Tech about the 2nd incident. Technology creates the invoice and sends it back to the site.
